design competition

// Overview

I design RTW collections with a focus on refined silhouettes and modern functionality, spanning womenswear and menswear. My projects reflect a process-driven approach from concept and fabric research through CADs, tech packs, and fittings to deliver polished, market-ready pieces. Alongside contemporary collections, my portfolio also includes an award-winning competition range, which remains an archive highlight of my early design career.

ready-to-wear

Design Work:

Developed a womenswear capsule exploring the intersection of streetwear and performance design, with a focus on versatility, technical fabrics, and refined silhouettes.

Design Work:

I help clients bring their ideas to life by combining sketches with digital tools, generating realistic photos and videos of a design before it goes into sampling or production. This saves time, reduces costs, and makes decision-making easier.

Design Work:

Sydney-based contemporary womenswear brand | Produced in China

Classic silhouettes crafted from premium materials and accented with modern detailing. Styled effortlessly in clean lines and an inviting colour palette. Mindful of everyday life, the designs evoke confidence and timeless femininity. Each piece is a staple with the power to elevate a wardrobe.

Design Work:

Sydney-based high-luxury womenswear brand | Produced in a French atelier

Created detailed CADs and technical packs to support pre-production. My role was to translate the client’s design vision into precise specifications, ensuring accuracy for sample development and manufacturing while reflecting the brand’s DNA of fiercely feminine, consciously crafted silhouettes.

Design Work:

Designed to reflect and enable the versatility of the modern man. He lives in a Western world increasingly connected to the East, at a point where histories and subcultures combine around arts, music, sports and lifestyle. The concept is to create a modern silhouette that is both casual and forward-looking. Functional garments are elevated through aesthetic lines and refined design. It is elegance through minimalism, allowing him to move effortlessly between environments and settings.

// Menswear

Design Work:

A collection built for the modern urban individual, where street culture, technology and global influences intersect. Clean silhouettes, functional detailing and refined minimalism come together to form garments that feel progressive, versatile and intelligently designed for movement and everyday adaptability.

Each page in this section showcases early sketch exploration focused on a single garment category (jackets, trousers, shorts, etc.). The goal was to generate volume, test construction ideas, and refine silhouette direction before moving into CAD refinement and fabric mapping.

// Winning collection

PRESLEY FERIAUX x THE NEW DESIGNERS.

My winning collection in the competition: ‘Great Contest of Young Creators’. The goal was to design a collection for AW15 comprising four looks and present it to a jury of 4 leaders from the fashion industry. The prize was the collection produced and sold by the brand. From the 300 participants, I was one of the 25 shortlisted to present their collection and then went on to win the competition.
