// National Geographic and R/GA: The ‘Make Good’ Project

“Do you have what it takes to solve one of the planet’s most pressing challenges?

National Geographic and global innovation consultancy R/GA are seeking young Australian changemakers to participate in a first-of-its-kind innovation lab at Semi Permanent.

The ‘Make Good’ project is dedicated to unearthing and developing ideas that put an end to single-use plastics and their devastating impact on our oceans. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with leading experts from National Geographic and R/GA, receiving hands-on guidance during an intensive 3-day accelerator designed to take their idea to the next level. One innovative solution will then be selected for continued development through an exclusive R/GA mentorship program and featured alongside the world’s most inspiring scientists and explorers in National Geographic.”

- Semi-Permanent

As part of this initiative, Semi-Permanent approached me to submit designs for online and physical spaces. My colour palette reflects the oceans with blue and green, with white representing plastic. The partition design subtly incorporates consumer plastic goods to encourage reimagining and repurposing of plastic within our society.
